It is with this belief and a passion for photography and creativity, that we offer this very special photo workshop on Black & White Photography. Whether you are a seasoned photographer or just getting started, this workshop will change the way you see and capture the world.

A Black & White World Photo Workshop is an intense study in black and white photography with focus on the artistic approach of seeing light and shadow. You will be creatively challenged throughout the workshop, as well as instructed in processing daily.

We will conduct our workshop in one of the most beautiful locations in the US, and a favorite photo location for both artists: Death Valley National Park.

At JKPW, we are proud to present the best photo workshops in the market today. Our instructors are professional photographers and teachers, and are dedicated to your learning, fun and adventure. We scout, and scout, then scout some more before every workshop, even if it is a location we photograph on a regular basis. We want you to get the most out of your workshop, so we do everything we can to ensure your happiness and success.

NOT INCLUDED: Lodging, airfare, transportation and meals. Discounted lodge rooms have been blocked for our group at The Oasis at Death Valley. Booking information and code will be provided after registration. Participants will car pool to shot locations. If you would like to arrange for room-share or ride-share from the airport, please advise your coordinator. We like to dine as a group to discuss the day and be available for questions, but participation is not necessary. 

FITNESS LEVEL: MODERATE
You must be able to carry your own equipment to participate. Trails are considered easy to moderate.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations made 121+ days prior to workshop are refunded less $150 processing fee.
Cancellations made between 120-91 days are refunded 50% of workshop.
Cancellations made less than 90-days from workshop are non-refundable.
Refunds will not be given for credits or transfers from any other photo workshop.

You should purchase trip insurance for your workshop in case of any unforeseen emergency or situation that requires you to cancel or should there be a reason that you cannot attend. This includes natural disasters, pandemics or closures that prevent the workshop from taking place on schedule. If a workshop encounters a closure due to safety, we will postpone the workshop and reschedule, and supply a credit to that workshop. It is the participant’s responsibility to protect their workshop. Travel insurance to cover your workshop fee averages about $65 USD. This should be calculated into your budget. Please visit World Nomads or Squaremouth for insurance options.

If you choose the deposit option, your balance is due 120-days prior to the workshop. An invoice will be sent prior to due date.
