In the south of France, time stands still. It is a place where man and animal unite, where Guardians of the white horses run along the rivers of the Rhone and Mediterranean Sea in a display of magnificence, incredible beauty and splendor. Join us for this 6-night / 6-day adventure as we experience and photograph the power, history and grace of these majestic white horses.

ITINERARY

DEPARTURE DAY: APRIL 27
Depart for Marsielle, France. Most international flights from the US and Canada will arrive the following morning. Please plan your flight to arrive no later than 12:00pm the following day.

ARRIVAL DAY: APRIL 28
Arrive in Marseille, France. Pick-up from airport, and transfer to the Camargue region of France. The afternoon is at your leisure. Relax, enjoy the gardens, pool or spa at your deluxe hotel in the Camargue. Meet & Greet plus Welcome Dinner at 7:30pm. 

APRIL 29 - MAY 3
Each day we will enjoy a gourmet French breakfast at our hotel. The workshop includes 7 field sessions with horses and/or bulls, and 1 field session with pink flamingos.

DEPARTURE DAY: MAY 4
French breakfast followed by departure from hotel. We will return you to the airport. Please plan your departure flight after 12:00pm.

We dine together daily for lunch and dinners between and after our field sessions. It is not mandatory that you attend, but we like to socialize, talk about the day's events, and be accessible for any questions. *Please note that lunches and dinners not mentioned in the schedule are not included in the cost of your workshop.

LODGING INFO

• *Workshop rate is based on shared room accommodation; if you would like your own room, a single supplement of $1500 will apply.

• Spouses (non-photographing) can attend for a fee of $2600 which covers additional lodging expense, daily breakfast, Welcome Dinner and transportation.

• Spa services are available for booking, but costs are at your personal expense.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Our workshops are designed for all skill levels, and involve photographing sunrise and sunsets, as well as other field sessions. While workshop locations vary, you should expect to walk relative distances with your equipment. Please refer to the Fitness Level below for each workshop. Some workshops are more strenuous than others. If you have any health issues or concerns, please reach out to us prior to registration.
