Workshop Description
Namibia is host to one of the most dramatic landscapes in the world, and is a location that photographers dream of experiencing! This landscape hosts the tallest sand dunes in the world, glowing red in color and rising 1000 feet off of the desert floor. Stark fossilized trees on a white clay pan will add a stunning element to your photography. And if that’s not enough to entice you, we are going to the remote, yet incredible Skeleton Coast!
Namibia is a once in a lifetime photographic experience!
This 10-day / 9-night inclusive tour will take you to the many wonderful places throughout Namibia to photograph. Kolmanskop Ghost Town, an abandoned gold mining town with dilapidated buildings filled with sand. Sossusvlei - the tallest sand dunes in the world, and also home to Deadvlei where 900 year old trees fossilized trees stick out of the salt pan. Sandwich Harbour is where the sand dunes meet the ocean, and this location is beyond spectacular! Private jeeps will take us to the top of the dunes for a view of where the dunes meet the ocean. We finish this trip with a trek to the remote and wonderful Skeleton Coast where shipwrecks and whale bones beautifully litter the coastline.

You must be in general good health to successfully participate in this workshop. You must be able to hike and climb sand dunes while carrying your camera gear. Hikes are typically 1.5 miles each way. You must be physically fit and in good health to participate.You must be able to hike and carry your own camera equipment.
