Workshop Description
Photographing the Oregon Coast is a magical experience. The southern Oregon coastline is home to the Samuel H. Boardman Scenic Corridor, and it is stunning! 12 miles with rocky beaches, coastal overlooks, crashing waves and dramatic nature! We will intensely capture the beauty of this area over the course of this workshop.
We begin each day with a sunrise along the beautiful coastal areas of Southern Oregon. Each section has its own unique feature from rocky shores, to tall grasses and tree covered coastline. We return for a proper photographers breakfast, and recharge.
We will spend our afternoons exploring forest and coast, working on long exposure photography and wave abstracts. We finish with a west coast sunset at stunning locations along the scenic corridor.
Itinerary
DAY 1 Aug 30
7:00pm Meet & Greet in Brookings, OR
DAY 2-4 Aug 31-Sept 2
We will photograph sunrises and sunsets along the shore and coastline. Each afternoon we will have photo sessions for waves, forests, abstract and creativity.
DAY 5 Sept 3
This is our final morning capturing the dramatic coastline. Workshop concludes after sunrise and breakfast.

FITNESS LEVEL MODERATE
You must be in general good health to successfully participate in this workshop. The terrain varies from rocky coastal areas and overlooks, to photographing on sandy beaches with logs. Paths have incline and are wet. You must be able to hike the terrain and carry your own camera equipment.
