Our 2027 photo workshop is a special photography celebration - A Winter to Remember.
The best winter photography experience is to stay inside the park. Unlike companies that stay in gateway communities, we have full access to interior roads and locations from sunrise to sunset. With limited lodging inside the park, this provides our group with minimal crowds during peak photo hours, and this experience is unsurpassed. Experience Yellowstone at its finest!

ITINERARY
DAY 1: JAN 24
2:00pm depart Bozeman (BZN) on private shuttle
6:00pm Meet & Greet with Welcome Dinner
Lodging - Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel
DAY 2: JAN 25
Depart Mammoth Hotel at 7:30am on our private snow coach and begin our photographic adventure through the park. Our luggage will be transported in a separate coach so that we have plenty of space for gear. Full day of winter photography and fun.
Lodging - Snow Lodge at Old Faithful
DAY 3: JAN 26
Our private snow coach will take you to areas within the park to photograph landscapes, wildlife and winter wonders. We will explore the remote location of Hayden Valley known for wolves, fox and otters. This area is also wonderful for vast, minimalist landscapes with hills of snow and trees.
Lodging - Snow Lodge at Old Faithful
DAY 4: JAN 27
Our private snow coach will take you to areas within the park to photograph. The geysers at Biscuit Basin and Fountain Paint Pots are spectacular, and we will focus our time going through these locations to capture the best frost and steam landscapes Yellowstone has to offer.
Lodging - Snow Lodge at Old Faithful
DAY 5: JAN 28
Full day exploring the interior of Yellowstone. We will track wolves and follow the wildlife wherever it takes us. Photograph frozen falls and other wonders of winter.
Lodging - Snow Lodge at Old Faithful
DAY 6: JAN 29
A full day of photography from the interior to northwest. We will check-out of Snow Lodge in the morning while your luggage is transported in a separate vehicle so there is plenty of space in our snow coach for gear and comfort.
Lodging - Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel
DAY 7: JAN 30
10:00am - private shuttle from Mammoth Hot Springs to BZN

Please book your return flight after 3:00pm. If you are unable to get a late afternoon or evening flight, the shuttle can drop you off at the Holiday Inn at Belgrade. This hotel offers free airport shuttle for your return the next day.

MEALS - meals (except box lunches) are not included in workshop rate. We like to dine as a group at hotel restaurants during the workshop to socialize and be on-hand for photography questions.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Our workshops are designed for all skill levels and involve photographing sunrise and sunsets as well as other field sessions. While workshop locations vary, you should expect to walk relative distances with your equipment. Some workshops are more strenuous than others. If you have any health issues or concerns, please reach out to us prior to registration.
FITNESS LEVEL
MODERATE
You must be able to walk in the snow with your gear and carry your own equipment. You should be in general good health, and expect to walk a decent distance per day.

The above airport is the closest airport. We strongly recommend you plan an early arrival, at least 1 day before the workshop begins to account for winter weather.

SHUTTLE TRANSPORTATION
Private transport will transfer you from either the BZN airport on the day of the workshop or from the Holiday Inn & Suites Belgrade.
If you miss the shuttle, you will be required to drive or taxi to the park.
