Workshop Description
Join us in Yosemite National Park for an immersive photographic experience set among soaring cliffs, waterfalls, and expansive valleys. This workshop blends hands-on exploration with focused photography sessions, guiding you to the iconic locations and some lesser known spots. Elevate your creativity, and return home with a portfolio of compelling landscape photographs!
If you have ever been to Yosemite, or have just seen the photographs, it’s no wonder why photographers trek here again and again to witness its splendor by simply standing there, looking down into the valley. It is the most unbelievable and remarkable display of nature. Mountains tower over the valley, yet serenely connect to it. The river flows through the valley like a soft, comforting morning, and feeds the wildlife and the terrain for each season. March is remarkable, as it is a shoulder month. There may be snow, spring will begin, whatever the weather, it will be spectacular for your inner artist!
Itinerary
DAY 1 MAR 7
7:00pm Meet & Greet Yosemite Valley
DAY 2-4 MAR 8-10
We will photograph sunrises, sunsets, iconic mountain ranges, waterfalls, vistas, valleys, rivers and more!
DAY 5 MAR 11
We will have our final sunrise photo session of the trip. Workshop concludes 11:00am
We like to dine together as a group. Yosemite Valley Lodge has restaurants on site.

TRANSPORTATION
Yosemite National Park will require snow chains on your vehicle if it snows. Snow chains can be packed in your luggage or purchased in Fresno if a winter storm is present.
FITNESS LEVEL EASY>MODERATE
You must be in general good health to successfully participate in this workshop. There will be a mix of easy locations and moderate trails. Photographers will need to be able to walk in forests and along rivers to access photo locations for sunrise and sunset. You must be able to hike and carry your own camera equipment.
